MB tags Mullen as Minister of Grass

Take a look at this article from the online edition of Grass and Lawn Monthly profiling Skip Mullen, Lee Myung-bak’s much touted top choice to head the new Ministry of Grass

He cut his teeth on Kentucky blue, wowed the grass world with his innovative ‘Highlands Rake’, and his nine-volume compendium ‘The Grasses of the World’ has a vaunted place on most professional lawnsmen’s shelves.  From the grasslands of the Serengeti to the English countryside and pro bono projects like his sodwork in New Orlean’s ninth ward to multi-billion dollar deals like his most recent Dubai International Airport Commons, Skip Mullen is the undisputed king of greenspace management.  But now many are wondering whether Skip has mowed more than he can mulch in heading up South Korea’s new Ministry of Grass.  If anybody can lead the effort to vitalize South Korea’s infant grass culture, it’s Skip.

In related news, the Joshing Gnome has been appointed to a blue ribbon commission to choose MB’s next Minister of Diminishing Returns.
